UTFANSWF v22 — Row 29 Result 04 Research Extension
Date: 2026-08-16

This bundle preserves the dated v22 publication source and compiled PDF byte-for-byte while adding a post-release executable research gate.

Canonical run:
  python -m harness.run_all_gates

Row 29:
  gate: proton_origin_isoqcd_nucleon_mass_closure
  verdict: PASS
  status: PASS_TARGET_ISOLATED_ISOQCD_NUCLEON_MASS_CLOSURE
quantity: isospin-symmetric N_f=2+1 QCD nucleon mass (m_u=m_d=m_ud; no QED)
  model-averaged result: 941.223133 +/- 35.184030 MeV
  AICc-preferred model: 939.100773 MeV

Claim boundary:
- Proton/neutron mass is not used to choose the production data, fit model, scale, physical quark point, or stopping rule.
- Independent upstream Standard-Model/QCD quark masses are used; current v22 does not derive the complete light/strange Yukawa spectrum.
- The CLS gauge ensembles are external production data; the continuum/chiral reconstruction and gate are internal to this research extension.
- The quoted forward quantity is isoQCD nucleon mass, not a full charged-proton QCD+QED prediction.
- Historical proton-holdout exposure prevents describing this as a pristine first-ever blind prediction.
- No post-freeze correction or retuning is allowed.

Publication protection:
- main.tex is intentionally unchanged.
- main.pdf is intentionally unchanged.
- Ronald L. Alexander updates the final PDF separately.

AUGUST 19, 2026 RESEARCH OVERLAY NOTE
--------------------------------------
Row 29 remains the historical target-isolated isoQCD nucleon result. The newer Frog #05 NP-QCD electromagnetic derivation under research/frog_closeout/ adds the target-free full-QED response architecture but does not retroactively relabel Row 29 as a completed physical charged-proton numerical calculation.
